Comedy Campaign



While visiting Wimbledon, I also noticed these posters for the days out guide in London, promoting a new offer. They grabbed my attention straight away due to the modification of such famous landmarks. I like the comical edge they have created.

I am always intrigued by campaigns like this as such little modifications can make such an impact. Landmarks around London especially are taken for granted a fair bit-especially by the people who live there or visit regularly. Yet when you add a simple alteration as shown on these posters it will get some kind of different reaction. In this case it works well promoting landmarks for the summer but unfortunately the advertising doesn't match the 'summer' weather we have been having! Anyway, this campaign goes to show that simple can be effective.
